I have an older AEM Uego wideband gauge (Model 30-4100)that I bought years ago for this project. Will this work with the Pimpx or should I get a new Spartan 3? If I upgrade, would the gauge I have work with the Spartan?

It will work. It uses the older LSU 4.2 sensor that came out in the late 90's that's getting to be more expensive than the newer LSU 4.9 sensor the Spartan 3 and newer AEM's use. The AEM gauge has the controller inside so it can't be used for any other purpose.
