i am looking at the 12.3" digital dash's listed in the store. i can clearly see the diff in the two pics but have not found any info as to what the actual difference is between the standard version and pro version . www.stinger-performance.com/store/digital-dash-12.3-std-bezel-dd-efiwww.stinger-performance.com/store/digital-dash-12.3-pro-mount-dd-efiseriously considering one for my sand rail, running pimp xs ecu. what is the difference between the pro and standard 12.3" versions, other then price or bezel? according to the install instructions a fuel sender can be connected to the standard version to see a fuel gauge on the screen . don't see an option listed for it in your store though. is there an option? as in a specified sender or a wire harness etc etc? in the touch screen version { sounds like a tablet and the option i would go with} will the screen rotate like a tablet , so that i could mount the screen vertically rather then horizontally, in my center console, like most of the later model pick ups?

just opened 2 pages for a sxs comparison and noticed a passage i didn't see trying to read on my phone.
NTERNAL I/O MODULE:
(7) Digital Inputs - L/R Turn Signals, High Beams, etc.
(5) Analog Sensor Inputs - Pressure, Temperature, etc.
Fuel Level Input
(2) PWM Outputs
Push Button Start
so, if one connected a fuel sender to the pimp xs, will the standard dash be capable of displaying that?

It won't rotate like a tablet, it's a fixed horizontal display.
What fuel level sender are you using? They output a resistance value that requires a pull-up resistor to convert to an analog signal. Different senders require different resistor value. Higher resistance senders allow for more resolution. Ideally you pick a pull-up resistor halfway in the resistance range to use the full 5v. Practically most senders are too low resistance to allow that though.
CANbus connectivity is the other advantage of the pro dash that's for some reason not mentioned in that comparison chart.

Currently the 1999 Hayabusa fuel sender. I do not know the resistance values for that sensor anymore. Currently use a programmable analog gauge from speedhut. It seems to loose setting from time to time. Purchased a rci pex lined tank. Unfortunately I will not be able to use it on this build but the next I will. It has a 0 to 90 ohm sender.
Once I get the interior back together I will see but I don't think I have the room for a horizontal mount.
Thanks for the rest of the info.
