Been lurking around, and not sure if this is the place to ask.
My 2.3 is finally in the car, so it's time to get some of the final details sorted before plumbing and wiring.
I have a Stinger ported lower and a Big R V-band upper that will accept a cable operated TB from a 90's 5.0.
ECU is a MS3 Pro.
I know I need the TPS, but do I need to run an IAC with this setup?

You need one if you want any sort of ECU based idle control that can raise idle on cold start, have an elevated idle on a warm start, help to "catch" the RPM as it drops after you push the clutch in when coming to a stop, etc.
If it's a race car and you don't mind it acting like a carb car with no choke that needs some throttle to stay running until it warms up, you can skip the IAC.

Got it, and I appreciate the quick reply for sure
I'm not against having one on there whatsoever, and I would like it to have some street manners. There's enough race car stuff already going on with this project.

I can't come up with any good reason not to have one. Even if there isn't space for it (which shouldn't be the case), there are remote IAC's that could still be used. IAC's are part of the reason EFI cars start and run so well under all conditions.
