I still haven't seen it on the universal parts page. Someday, i have patience. The site update is ready and uploaded, it's just "hiding" until I have a solid word on when the next batch will be finished.

PiMP Engine Management Initial Startup & Tuning Videos!
I've had a few people who refused to believe how easy the PiMP is to setup unless they saw vids of the process so here they are.
To make sure everything in the startup guide was clear, I had a local guy stop by and handed him the startup guide and the tools he would need for the install. I let him do the install while I removed the wideband from my SVO and installed it in his, including welding in the o2 bung in the exhaust.
The ecu install process was lengthened because of the wideband install as well as the fact that the customer had to tighten up his turbo mounting bolts (not a quick thing to do on a stock location turbo setup). We had to make an adapter to attach his cone filter to the stock vam flex hose since it wasn't a permanent install. He also showed up without the timing cover on so we couldn't check base timing until that was installed (another time consuming process). Regardless, he arrived at the shop 2 hrs before the first video began.
For those who are curious, the 86 SVO in these vids has some basic mods: big valve head with mild porting, a237 cam, bigger exhaust, Stinger FMIC, 50 trim hybrid turbo, gillis valve, and a cone filter. It had the stock PE ecu, 35lb injectors, big vam, etc. Boost in all vids is 15psi.
In Part 1, a Stinger Performance PiMP ECU was configured and installed, MAP sensor hose routed and plugged in, VAM was removed, and wideband o2 meter was installed. After that we verified base timing during cranking, calibrated the TPS and wideband, and fired up the camera. What you see is the startup in 60 degree weather and then I turn on VE Live auto tune and let it tune while the car owner just drives around doing nothing special.
Part 2 shows the car cruising around after about 20 minutes of driving with VE Live auto tuning. At this point the cruise/idle AFR are relatively steady (I'd call it 90% of perfectly tuned) and we are heading towards an area with no traffic so we can do a little "spirited" driving for tuning under boost.
Part 3 begins after we spent about 10 minutes driving to an area without traffic. When the video begins, we've already made a two low boost (5-7psi) short bursts to 4000 rpm or so in low gears in order to get an idea of whether the base tune would be lean, rich, or ok under boost. It was rich (10.2 AFR) so to speed up the tuning process a bit, I manually removed about 10% of the fuel in this range of the map, then let VE Live dial it in from there. After two wide open throttle pulls, the first of which was first and second gear, the second pull went from first all the way through third gear, the video starts. It is now 35 minutes since the initial startup and it is tuned "safe" and would be ok if left as-is. It could certainly be dialed in further from here but all that would do is make the AFR a little more stable (it is varying .5-.7 in this video under boost). To further dial it in, we made three more wide open throttle pulls with VE Live still activated while watching the AFR to make sure it was safe.
Part 4 shows a "hot start" after we returned to the shop. All we did was pull into the driveway, shut it off, talk for a minute about the tuning session, then I pulled out the camera and had the driver start it back up and give it a free rev to show how well it started with no adjustment to any settings in the tune. The ONLY thing we adjusted during this entire tuning session was the Fuel/VE map, all other settings and parameters were left as they were in the provided base tune. You can see in this final video that it is 2:07pm. We started it for the first time at 1:10pm so we were back to the shop discussing how well the tuning went in less than 1 hour!

We've got some different base tunes available and we send what should be the closest to your setup. This does include a "stock" tune but we don't have any reason to have tunes so specific that they require no (auto) tuning whatsoever.
Completely stock SVO's are rare and not really the target for this ecu (the stock ecu does a pretty good job on stock engines) so there isn't really much demand for a completely stock tune. Furthermore, purchasing a PiMP with the intent of not actually using it to tune (rather just as a means to hold a "stock" base tune) seems like a waste of $650.

The next batch should be 7-10 days away. Because we can't currently keep up with demand and I don't want a month or two month waiting list, the best option may be for me to go back and find in what order people asked to be on the list or how to buy and offer them to those individuals in order.
