I'm having issues getting the front mount to fit. I've removed the radiator and moved the condenser out of the way. There's a cooling line of some sort (oil/transmission?) it looks like on the driver side that sits in front of the condenser. From all the pics I've seen, the IC goes in front of this. Do I just bend it out of the way? Does the FMIC sit dead center of the front bumper or offset to one side?
Also, are there any pics that show this part of the install in detail other than what's on the website?
If any or all of this is addressed in any other posts, can anyone point me in that direction?

It's an oil cooling line. I pushed mine out a little in front of the IC and used a longer bolt to hold the tab to the core support. But I don't have an a/c condensor. My FMIC is as center as possible.
I've got some pics of mine installed but not on photobucket yet. If I am not being too lazy I'll try and get some tonight and post up here. Just keep in mind, my car has a larger than factory radiator and no a/c parts so it may be a bit different.

Is this an SVO? If so, it's the power steering cooler. You can unbolt it and move it, or use a longer bolt as stated above. The IC should be centered.

Yep, '86 SVO. Where would you move it to? What about bending it? Is that ok?

Move it forward so it clears the IC, or unhook the hoses and mount it anywhere else it will reach. Bending a little bit is fine as well.

too bad his pictures dont work! stinger I bought the forced4 CAI with thier bypass kit and was curious if you have any customers using both kits together and if the bosch bypass valve they use is compatible with the fmic. I obviously dont expect you to keep track of other companies products and I have yet to mock up the parts together which i will do soon

I'm sure it can be made to work together but I don't know of any specific examples. The plastic Bosch valve is known to leak over 15psi or so...particularly after a couple months of use.

My initial intention is to use the Bosch bypass (I have the Forced4 CAI also) temporarily until I can get some engine issues taken care of. I'll try to get some pics up when I get it together. Probably be next week before I get it all back together.

Sounds like a plan.

That of course is not stingers fault at all

I also have the Forced4 CAI. I found their fit less than ideal. Stinger, have you looked at having your connections make your own CAI tube and kit, and importantly, design it to work with your FMIC kits? If you had offered one, I would have picked it over the Forced4 kit. It found the fit of the F4 kit was less than ideal. It works, but it is just barely long enough, and I found the bends to be a touch too sharp. As a result, it binds the couplers just a little, and I had to stretch them in place. Their metal shield I feel should have a notch in the bottom part of it to provide for the AC wiring. I had to notch mine out with a metal grinder. It doesn't hurt to have the notch already pre-cut. I also disliked the K&N filter that came with the kit, I never opened the box, I provided my own filter, an AFE ProDryS cone filter that provides better protection against dirt and oil getting sucked into the turbo and engine. If I were you, I would offer the kit without the filter, and then offer the filter separately or as a bundle. That way, those who run without a VAM can use a larger filter rather than getting stuck with the kit one.

The metal shield is not good at all. Bends were poor, edges were sharp, and it really never fit at all. After several iterations of my own modifications, it still did not fit so I simply discarded it. It would've taken more than my patience allows to make it work.

I've considered making a CAI a number of times but never did it because of the number or different configurations I'd have to cover, as well as the fact that Forced4 already offered one (I never used one so I just assumed fitment was fine).
