that is true! I have made my mind up that this is the way I am going so one way or the other I will make it work... it may take 10 forevers but to me in the long run this is what I want lol and if it works I will document everything just in case someone else wanted to do this... I may be the only crazy idiot that wants this setup but that's ok with me lol

Are you going to put a manual valvebody in it or use one of the aftermarket controllers or what?

manual valve body with a toggle switch for 4th and another for converter lockup... a buddy of mine has a 4r70w setup like this and it works awesome! his is behind a twin turbo 4.6 though...
