hey stinger here is what i did ok guys heres a update. i got the car back together but i noticed some how when i put the egr back on i cracked it lol, but i stared the car any ways well i noticed it still smokes and smells like gas still after replaceing the fpr and ect sensor. well i fired it up and it would not rev over so i shut it off and i took the intercooler off and put it back on and started it back up. it reved over fine. and then after a a little bet of idleing it did not rev over but i unpluged the vam box and it idled up. i am at a loss here guys. i found a guy that use to have a old svo mustang and he said he might have a few parts layen around he said maby a map sensor, but i think i am goin up there tomarrow if not the next day. but i know it might be because of my egr but it ran like this befoe i broke the egr. also on the turbo neck were there is 2 like vacuum things are i have those block are they suposed to be blocked??? also in my vid's i made i dont know if you guys can hear it in my vids but it sounds like my air filter is sucking in WAY TO MUCH AIR it i will also redo the fuel pressure test tomarrow or the next. but do you guys got any more ideas? thanks

The air filter doesn't suck air, the engine sucks air through the filter (and it only sucks as much as it needs, it can't suck more air than it can use).
The vacuum ports on the turbo neck can be plugged for now, won't effect what you are trying to do.
You need a new harness or that harness fixed, otherwise we will just continue to go in circles.

ok, but it sounds like its sucking in alot of air. it never sounded like that befor??? could my vam be bad? also what about my bap sensor??? i will start it up let it idle for a little bit and start pullin codes and i will post back thanks stinger

hey man i ran codes and this is wat i got after i let it warm up for 15mins 22, 26, 51, 54, 63, 71, 82, 85, 88. but listen i can unplug the vam and it will idle up and i can rev over 3k but when i step on the gas kind of fast it stumbles a little. but when i plug the vam back in it will idle down and when i go to rev it it wont rev over 2200-3k on the tach. whats that meen? i am still hunting for a harness the one and the junk yard is for a 92, but tell me what you think, i dont really under stand the codes i am at a loss.

www.fordfuelinjection.com has the codes: 22 - MAP/BP sensor out of self test range. 26 - MAF sensor was greater than 0.7 volts with engine off. MAF sensor was not between 0.2 and 1.5 volts with engine running. TOT sensor out of self test range. 51 - ECT sensor signal is greater than the Self-Test maximum of 4.6 volts. 54 - ACT sensor signal is greater than the Self-Test maximum of 4.6 volts. 63 - TPS circuit below minimum 0.6 volts. TPS circuit has intermittently failed below minimum 0.6 volts. 71 - Software re-initialization detected or Cluster ControlAssembly circuit failed. 82 - Don't worry about this one. Sounds like VREF and/or Signal Return is messed up.

Also for the tenth time, running the engine overly rich will scratch the cylinder walls and make your engine junk. You need to quit screwing with it until you get a new harness or you'll have even more issues (if you don't already).

well i was told to pull codes, so how am i goin to pull codes with the motor cold? ? also i am searching for a harness. so the smoking, and all can be casued by my wiring harness then wright?? i am being told by ten people ten diffrent things. BUT THIS ALL CAN BE BECAUSE OF MY WIRE HARNESS WRIGHT? if its goin to cost alot more then i will just pull the motor and drop in a carbed 302. but for sure its the harness and not the ecc or what ever its called???

i found a harness i think the guy told me that a 90 harness wont work, but i told him on your sight it list 87-90 wire swap. am i wright it will work wont it??

You can scan for codes without the engine even running. It saves them from the last time it ran.
The smoking is from it being rich and yes, and screwed up harness can cause that.
All the weird codes can be from the screwed up harness.
It gives codes, that means it's 99% not the ecu.
I already said 87-90 harness, believe me or believe the guy selling the harness, that's up to you.
A carb 302 may be a good plan for you.

I would not run that car until the wiring is fixed. Yes you will get the ACT and ECT out of range codes on an engine that is under 50 degrees but other then that you can pull the codes on a cold engine no problem. Do not run it anymore until you fix that wiring. I WRITE this so that we can help you get it RIGHT.

ok well if i cant find a harness in the next week i gess i plan on swapping in a 302, i takled to a guy and he said he is doing the 2.3t swap and were he live he cant find a harness any where, and the only one he found is 700 miles away and the guy wants 150.00 for it. but i will see if i can find a harnness. thanks, also so it aint worth getting out the volt meter and checking the wireing then wright??? just go for changing the wireharness??? becuase if you think its the harness wich that is what i thought should i just change it with out messing with the volt meter plus i dont know how to use one, my dads ben workin on cars for 35+ years and he dont even know how to read one LOL
