Again, without specific issues (what acronyms?), we can't help you. If you'd looked in the Frequently Asked Questions area of this forum ( which is designed to get individuals who are new to 2.3T's like you up to speed so they know what we are talking about), you would see the FIRST thread in that section is title "Acronyms (What certain terms seen here mean)"...I bet if you read it you'll gain a ton of information Pictures will do you no good, that is why there are none included in the article. All you'll see is wires coming out of the plug, just like they do in stock form.

ok well i think i figured out the major problem from what i can tell the TFI conector from the Tbird needs to be cut off and and moved to the Mustang you also have to cut off the coil pack plugs (two black ones) and replace them with the one from the TC am i correct in assuming this?

No, you don't use the TFI plug from the TC (all ignition wiring details are covered on the swap page). You do use the coil plug but I don't always advise removing the dual coil wiring.
Looking at the acronyms page, what does ACT sensor stand for (this will help to tell you where it is located as well)?
What year TC engine are you using for the swap?
I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, I am making sure you are ready to do the swap before you dig into it and screw yourself over by doing irreversible damage.

ACT=Air Charge Temperature
its an 86
ok and for the plug i realized that the module that sends power to the coils is in ruffly the same spot as the Distributor and the plugs are close to if not the same so im thinking im using that plug to go into the Distributor.

You may want to note what year range of donor TC and or donor TC ecu/air meter the swap pages uses as other years don't work.
Air Charge Temperature sensors are located in the intake manifold, 86 TC's don't have one though.
You are correct on the TFI plug.

It's like Obi-Wan and Luke....the early years! ;D
The answer to your question is also stated in Stinger's "How-To". For the 91-93 Mustang Wiring Swap.
Quoting from the "How-To" "Note that you will need to move that ACT Sensor that was located in your airbox to somewhere after the intercooler. The 87-88 intakes already have them in the back of the lower intake. You will need to move/lengthen the wires to reach the new location. I chose to mount mine in the IC tubing right before the throttle body."

Exactly, ALL of the info is there...you just have to read it (not just glaze over it).

I know you can't remember it all. You should keep reading through it though until you do remember what info is included in the guide (like that it includes ignition wiring, ecu repinning info, act wiring info, etc.).

Just an idea, print out everything on that page, and anything you find helpful for your swap, for that matter. Create a book and read it often. Familiarize yourself with everything. I am only in the planning/engine rebuild stage of my swap and I have read the "How-To" at least 15 times.
Also I suggest you read through all the post in the tech forum. Regardless if you need to or not. You can learn alot about your vehicle, the way it operates inside and out, and if a problem surfaces with your vehicle, you may be able to diagnose the problem quickly.
