What will the new Upgraded ECU be able to handle as far as boost pressure, fuel injector size it will best work with (largest size it can handle?)? Will the engine function as well as it would with a stock as far as cold cranking, idiling. What type of O2 sensor will it accept? I have a one wire o2 sensor and would like to upgrade to a 3 or 4 wire if possible. Any info would be useful. I might have to invest in the Mega Squirt plug and play system if i cant figure mine out.
I have the 2.3 ford turbo on my Sandrail that i made street legal. The engine and current ecu is from a 1986 ford T-bird.......any info would b helpfull thankx, Max

It can read/handle up to 44psi, injector size is basically infinite. It can function better than stock in all aspects if it is tuned well enough. It can also run like an absolute dog if not tuned (just like anything). It will accept any narrow band sensor or wideband sensor (when configured properly with the software).

I dont want to rain on anyones parade here, as I am very familiar with the standalone market and MS for certain, can t count all the cars I have had my hands in... Huber Mustang for one, several cars of mention that have participated and won Hot Rod mag Drag Week. Dont let the fact that this is a PnP piece fool any of you into thinking that you install, start and then go and hammer on the car. base tunes are close to get you going, but all engines are a little different, and one tune doesnt fit all cars... cold starts, accel enrichments, and a dozen other things that will either make starting and driving the car fun or a pain in the rear will need a little tweaking. Read the install guides, read the tuning guides and dont mess with what you dont understand... just my 2 cents You're not raining on anyone's parade. That's been known since the first page of this thread. Plug and Play refers to the ability to plug it into the stock harness and have a base tune to start the car. Then the "play" part begins where you tune the car so it can be hammered on safely. We've also covered the "don't mess with what you don't understand" in this thread. People asked if it's possible to "lock them out" of advanced settings so they don't screw up things by messing with stuff they should leave alone. I'm not sure if you didn't read the thread before posting or just skimmed it, etc. but it's all covered here. Nothing new was mentioned in your thread (except the Hubers winning drag week )

I have just seen many folk break stuff because they are either impatient, uninformed or both... Read more: stinger-performance.proboards.com/index.cgi#ixzz14kQVy8KK

With stock 2.3 wiring, I take it there isn't SEFI capability? Or can that be added as an extra?

With stock 2.3 wiring, I take it there isn't SEFI capability? Or can that be added as an extra? Correct. It can be supported, and "native" support for 4 cylinder SEFI was left on the board. It obviously will require some level of end user wiring, and a different (than any stock 2.3) engine position input. The "easiest" way to support this has not yet been nailed down.

stinger will you be offering a t5 and auto ms2 setup? The A4LD setup will lose nitrous control in order to control the 3/4 shift and TC lockup control. There will be no required changes to run a T5 or a C4.
